the randomness
i decided to look at my stat counter since it has been a while since i have been around. it never ceases to make my day. here's some of the stuff that brought people to read my sporadic ramblings
ng'ombe entertainment - now, at first i thought it was what cows do for fun but then i thought maybe there is a company somewhere called ng'ombe entertainment. or maybe it's like show cows or something.
sidebar:
i am within my rights to think that cows need entertainment. there's a annual seminar held in my part of the woods back home on chicken rearing and one of the speakers used to suggest that you should let them listen to "sundowner" so that they can relax and improve productivity. and yes, it must be that show cos that fast paced music will just stress them, chicken need mellow r&b like sounds. true story. so i must assume that there is the equivalent for cows ama?
how to take vaseline out of carpets - ha, this one post has so much traffic for random things it's amazing. the manufacturers of vaseline should have a homepage for all the wierd things people search for.
decrease my i.q - i know this isn't the most intellectual place to be on the web but come on!
school matrons smack bottoms - huh?
sinzia by nameless is stupid - all i could think is "no shit!" cos thats what makes it so great! everyone knows that his songs are all fluff when it comes to lyrics. if you were shocked by the trivial nature of lyrics for sinzia then you are either daft or haven't been listening to nameless very long. here is a sample of lyrics from some of his songs:
asubuhi na mapema, na-amka, ninaoga! nauliza "mirror, mirror, on the ukuta, what do i need?"
(deep voice) "ong-eza ma-futa!"
megarider
sinyorita! take me to your leader! i can be your slaaaaaave ...
juju
why you playing with my psychology, when i'm liking your biology?
why lie
macho yako yanameta kama star, na umbo lako lanifanya ulala
deadly
and this is only of the top of my head. so it was only natural that sinzia would continue the progression cos for him it is the formula for success. so no one should be surprised when you hear that "if only i could be your body lotion i would work with undivided devotion". if the man is anything he is consistent.
wanking man off for a living - i'm actually the first result that shows up. and here i was thinking my blog was at the very least p-g 13. hmm! see what i mean bout that vaseline man post?
various fetishes i will not go into detail cos i have nothing to say - well, okay, i do. leave the poor animals alone! and i don't know what peoples fascination with horses is anyway, can't those things kick you to death?
i should most definately be checking my stat counter more often - i have been hilarized to the fullest!
________
there some songs on my playlist i cannot translate. i would if i could but i can't. i may not know what they mean but i'll listen to them anyway. some of them are for nostalgia's sake, others cos they are fun to dance to. sigh. one step closer to letting people know i am not from one big village where everyone speaks "african". anyway, here are some of them:
kanda bongo man - monie
this song remeinds me of music time on kbc. and that dance that we know goes along with the song. cheat me and say that at some point you weren't dancing around in your living room to amuse others and yourself.
koffi olomide - ultimatum
high school! i swear that there are people who spent hours practising how to dance to this one cos the song is long and they could move like those dancers in the video. or maybe i'm just bitter cos i only know four moves for lingala and even those look highly suspect when i do them.
premier gauo - magic system
guaranteed to get people dancing. and watching drunk folk try and sing along is worth it if this isn't your type of music. thus the reason why some people i know call this song "mukurino amevalia taulo".

wassup mamie. I used to love lingala back in the days and can dance fairly well esp when high lol most learnt from those videos *sigh* ultimatum and Loi by Koffi. Do you remember Sam fan Thomas, you really brought back i think a refresher course in order.
LOL at search words.
Ah, me like the music. Good tunes!
As for the search words, I think I'll dig into mine and see what brings people over...

yup, that is so true. i believe that if the lyrics to his songs were read out loud it would be the most hilarious thing ever as far as i am concerned.
