one of those perfect days
it was one of those perfect days. the sun wasn't shining or anything and i had started my morning by yelling at someone but nothing was going to ruin it. i was like "i'm alive yo, i'm going to live!" (nyas, i blame you for incorporating that "yo" word into my vocabulary)
so at the end of my perfect day, humming to myself as i walked home, smiling at random people who must have thought i was nuts i fished for my keys so that i could open the walk through gates and get home and continue with the perfection that had been so far then i kinda slipped on something. actually i skid. i looked down and it was a big pile of brown something. to make it worse, no amount of wiping it on grass would get it off my worn only twice once adored shoes would get it off. infact, it got spread around (on suede, you get me, suede, dammit!)and looked even ickier. now, the shoes are sitting on the porch cos really, ugh!
even though the sun was not shining, i'm hoping someone droped a pile of pale brown chocolate and they forgot all about it and it melted. then i was the first person along and what happened happened. i'm not willing to actually smell to check but a girl can dream, can't she?
most probably it was one of those dogs around that i used to think were cute. and people wonder why i am a cat person.
all is not lost though. behold, the misheard lyrics of "we be burning" by sean paul.
now i'm smiling again.

hala, kumbe there is another one. is this a trend now, like all the beyonce spoofs out there?

Ok, this Sean Paul parody is off the hinges. Clever one but will mos def confuse folks who are already at a loss of Jamaican patois.

Same thing happened to me once during a hike I'd gone on. So for the car ride home, the stench was just killing us! First thing I did was scrape those things (gloves fully on) and leave them outside for the fresh air to work on them. I feel your pain.

Am very glad to see you back. Pole sana and hope they are clean now. Thats the only thing that seperates me and dogs or cats because they do it wherever you dont want them to.

it is for this exact reason that i wont be getting a rotweiller. all the more reason to get a cat, uppity or not
