jesus camp

i first saw the preview for jesus camp a month ago and i am holding back on my thoughts on it until i have actually watched the movie cos we know how sometimes trailers are not all they are cracked up to be. i could relate to alot of the stuff going on though since having a very large mostly christian extended family means i have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of what people do in the name of faith. that aside, tell me what first comes to mind when you watch this:

That's some scary ish!Seems that they are getting them when they are even younger now!
I have seen what happens to some of these church raised kids when they hit the rebellious teens, some go wild and become even worse than us kawa people their age.
Who says it's only muslims that have militants?
Will make sure I see it too......

wow! this is frightening to watch. esp. when the lady stated that there are 2 kinds of people in this world "those who love jesus and those who don't." it's scary when people view the world in such black and white terms. i think i'll have to watch this film.

Jesus Camp! I saw this film, and it's good - in a scary way. Those kids should get up to speed on science (they don't believe in evolution or global warming).

Thanx for yah comment spice. But I know what I am saying. I aint confused someone wrote a very detailed article about nas being the axis of evil. The article has so far been removed from the site. However you can catch a rejoinder in this link http://www.epinions.com/content_4220756100
Its written by a fellow groupie for Nas. Thanx for adding Jay Z into the mix I didnt know about that.

Email me we can clear it up.

First reaction - too militaristic and too blind to recognize real truth. Brainwashed.

I'm a Christian and believe in sharing the faith. But this isn't close to my understanding of what following Christ means. Christ came to serve not to conquer. And we are to follow Christ's example from his time on earth.

aiiish, i don't think that's a movie i'm going to put on my "to do" list. looks more like one of those things that are worth waiting for till they come on tv and if it bores you, you just change channel.

looks to me like some of these kids are being robbed of their childhood.

but i shouldn't be criticising something i haven't seen in full length.

3:35 pm

I want to watch this movie...
